The W Awards is positioned to recognize and celebrate Nigerian women who defy all odds to stand out successfully; highlighting the important contribution that women are making in the Nigerian emerging economy.

1.2 Your access to this website is subject to these terms and conditions, the W Awards Privacy Policy, notices, disclaimers, any other terms and conditions or other statements contained on this website, and, if you use any of the services identified on this website for which additional or alternative terms and conditions are referred to, those additional terms and conditions for those other services (referred to collectively as “Terms and Conditions”). By accessing, viewing or otherwise using this website, you agree to be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 Access Bank may, at its sole discretion, vary or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any subsequent access to, or use by you, of the website will constitute an acceptance of these Terms of Conditions as they appear at that time.

2.1 The W awards retains the discretion whether to publish, edit, delete, block, reject, take down or remove any part or all of your content, or any other content, on the website.

2.2 You agree that you will not supply content to The W Awards which is or is likely to be:

  1. Abusive, obscene, offensive, pornographic or indecent;
  2. Defamatory of any person;
  3. In breach of the intellectual property rights or moral rights of any person;
  4. In breach of any obligations of privacy or confidence;

2.3 You retain all intellectual property rights in your content. You grant The W awards/Access an irrevocable, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, transmit, communicate to the public, reproduce and sublicense your Content in any form, including on the website and in any print or electronic publication.

2.4 You give consent for The W awards or Access to do or omit to do any and all acts in relation to your content that would otherwise infringe any past, existing or future moral rights in the content. You waive any rights you may have to take action against The W awards or Access in relation to any act or omission which would otherwise infringe any past, existing or future moral rights in your content.

2.5 You warrant that your content is your original work and you own all rights in relation to your content. You indemnify Access Bank and The W awards against any action, claim or proceedings alleging that the content infringes the rights of any person, and any cost, charge, expense, payment, loss, damage or liability suffered or incurred by Access in connection with the foregoing.

2.8 The W awards normally shows your name with your contribution, unless you request otherwise. However, for operational reasons this is not always possible.
